Urgent issue with extrange redirection !!

Hey !!

When i try to access one of the sites that i've hosted with you i'm having a serious problem.

It's being redirected to an external site, specifically "www.genesismuds.com". It happens with name epi***.com and with the alias www.epi***.com. I have just to create an additional alias for test purposes with the name connect.epi***.com and with this works !!

Aditionally, it's not a script problem because, with a ping epi***.com and connect.epi***.com are resoving different IP Addresses:

Please !! A need a solution !!! This is a client's website !!!!!!!

Thanks !

I just checked the DNS records and got this:
www.epi***.com. A 64.156.223.130

This domain looks to be one that was migrated from win1, the ISP DNS cache may be lagging behind and should resolve itself very soon.

It seems that the IP the win1 server was on is assigned to another domain now, and any DNS servers that cache for long periods of time as sending customers to the old IP address.

Edit: I edited your post for you and your customer's privacy. Just for your information.

actually I see one of the problems, you have your nameservers pointed to ns1.jodoshared.NET and ns2.jodoshared.NET that needs to be .com instead, if you make that change at the registrar it may speed things up a bit.

Edit: actually you have that at jodohost.net, still, the proper entry would be jodoshared.com

I don?t understand ...
The DNS's are the same of the other website that i have in the same account and actually there's no problem with it. In fact, one domain works good and the other doesn?t with the same configuration. Just other question... ? Why with any other alias (different to "www") is accessing the website normally ?
Thanks in advance.

it is because once you force a dns update on this end for a subdomain it makes your local ISPs dns server look up to the auth server (jodohost) and reply.
