PayPal and paymet posting

I noticed that when I pay JoDohost via paypal within the control panel that the payment gets posted right away to my account. Maybe jodo is just fast but I think it is automated.

I also have paypal setup with my hsphere billing system for cutomers to pay.

But I am not sure how to get the payment to post to the customer's account automatically after they pay.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? It would be a great time saver for customer renewals.

Thanks

No, we don't auto post last I checked :) But I'll let Yash or Atul steer me straight if I am wrong, because we used to have to wait until billing checked paypal 2checkout based payments on signup.

In your admin CP, go to Settings/Merchant Gateway/Web Payment Processor Config/Paypal.
Enter your paypal address, 'xxxxx hosting' in the passthrough, and check 'activate'.

Go to your Paypal (business) account. Under Profile/Selling preferences/Instant payment notification, enter your callback url (http://cp.*domain.net*/psoft/servlet/psoft.hsphere.payment.PayPalServlet) and activate it.

(Replace *domain.net* with your reseller domain.)

I think that's all you need to do. It was some time ago when I set mine up.

I get a copy mail from hsphere telling the customer when it's due, and a mail from Paypal when it gets paid. Their account in hsphere is updated automatically.

I only use it for one account, but it works just fine... I don't know what it does if it goes overdue or if it wasn't paid on time because it hasn't happened.

Yes, we are also using Paypal IPN and all paypal payments are posting automatically in account.

But 2Checkout payment takes atleast 24 hours for manual credit due to time taken by 2checkout.com for verification of payment.
