My question to all Jodohost users who have SQL databases is: How are you making periodic backups of your database YOURSELF? I've tried connecting via Enterprise Manager - I can see the database (all of them in fact), but when I right-click--->All Tasks--->backup database, it can't see any of...

It is done - I have it there in ther root. I have also tested this copy on a local SQL server and know that it is functioning properly. You can over-write the current database, but let me know when restore is complete. All IDs will need DBO, as before.

Ok, the non-existant user "SVArt_users" was somehow still attached to the database. I had to remove that and add "SVArt_users2", which is the ID you created. That ID does not appear to have dbo permissions though. Error: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e09'...

Couple things...all IDs will need dbo permissions setup if they are not already. Also, that new database is only 5 megs - the old one was 9. I'm already getting errors on the stored procedures. Was this a full restore?

100K isn't much, but lets restore it to the public site and take a look...much of these posts are converted into pure text, so it is possible we could have more data there.

Ok, downloaded that locally and it is the same copy that you currently have restored to my public site, which is a week old. That *can't* be the copy that he made just before doing the work. Can we try another backup? I'd be happy with the one before that if it is yesterday at this point.

Yash, this baffles me...I thought the point of moving to the cluster was increased reliability and nightly backups. When was the last backup of my DB done? I've got ALL data missing from the point I moved to the cluster 6 or 7 days ago! I've seen you guys tell people here in other threads...
