    Creating custom MX records will route any mail (mail.domain.com) activity to the alternate server. You would have to have that alternate server set up to accept their domain.com email. This should have been worked out prior to changing mx records. I am hoping that you were not expecting that...

    Any update on the Cerberus upgrade/dedicated. It gets pretty frustrating when ticket replies submitted through the helpdesk are taking sooooo looooong to appear. I sent one an hour ago and still hasn't shown up. This really slows up the support process.

    No problems and no delays here... I assumed you tried sending yourself a test email from both inside and outside the JH network to test.

    No probs - thats my sense of timing - always just a little too late... just thought I'd mention the dns cache as I've had it happen to me when changing an account to from one host to another - the more commonly used one (www) would remain cached in the ISPs DNS server while the lesser used one...

    Works fine for me - both urls go to the same location. Perhaps and issue of caching on your ISPs DNS servers - they may have not propogated/updated at the same time. (especially if there was a change at a recent point). Give it a bit and it should resolve.

    Smartermail would require a complete change in servers (to Windows too) as it is not just a standalone webmail client. From what I've seen on another host, SmarterMail anti-spam has some major issues.

    Do you have smtp authenication enabled for sending. (using same login/password as POP)??? It should be.
