am i complicated, or JH is complicating issues?

I am reseller with JH since 2005, I've 3 reseller accounts and 2 Windows shared accounts.

I've a reseller account on cluster2 "HostingHosts"
a client whose website is 300 MB withdraw a bandwidth of 100GB in a mo, which raised a payment of $147.5 against me.
I tried to have any discount on this payment as I had once in 2007 but I failed.
I knocked all the doors, Gurmeet's and Stephen's, no one gave me a hand rather than paying the $147.5

Before figuring out the issue, I moved the client to another reseller account I have on cluster 1. (really I didn't think he used this BW he is a 3 years client with me and I didn't want to lose, i though something got mad with HSphere), again in 2 weeks same BW was used which raised a payment of $150 against me again.
I asked for a discount and I got a 50% discount in less than 2 hours, which I paid.


Why in the first case JH refused to give me discount, while in the second case they gave me?

I contacted billing asking for the same discount for the account on cluster 2, they refused :rolleyes:

so:
  1. They refused to give me discount for my account on cluster 2
  2. They agreed to give me discount for my account on cluster 1
  3. They refused to give me discount for my account on cluster 2 after I asked to have the same discount which I had on cluster 1

so, am i complicated?, or JH is complicating issues?
 
Really it is a matter of, we can't continue doing such continually, we hate seeing such, but at the same time we have bills to pay as well. We have analyzed both cases, and spent hours working with you on it as well, both on forums, and via email/ticket.

We cannot continually throw around such discounts, and such is done very rarely. Your client IS using all this bandwidth, they have some huge files they load up.
 
I know this and I also appreciate this, and would like to add that this whats make JodoHost different than any other host, the support we have. This only happened twice since 2005.

I'd like to add too that it is not a matter of paying bills, If I upgraded to higher plan is that means you are paying from your pocket?

Why since I used double the resources I pay double what i am paying, why do I pay ~10 times what I should pay for only using double the BW (I paid $147.5 rather than $17 for using only double the BW)?

If my client account got suspended after consuming his BW you could saved your time and mine too. This is the logic and this is what's happen on cPanel (I don't want to get into discussion again around the non-billing plans or so)

Is refusing to give me such a discount (which is 5X of what I should pay) solved the issue? keep it suspended so, my client is only paying $3/mo.



You are complicating the issue, this could be solved in 2 hours as the case on cluster 1, don't tell me that you are paying from your pocket, it is only ~80GB of BW, having 50% discount that is paying $73.75 is fair.

$73.75 for 80GB BW is an unbelievable price, although I accept paying it, why do you insist on having the $147.5


I didn't open this thread to reopen the discussion, I just wanted to say that:

1- You refused to give me discount for my account on cluster 2
2- You agreed to give me discount for my account on cluster 1
3- You refused to give me discount for my account on cluster 2 after I asked to have the same discount which I had on cluster 1
4- If you gave me the discount for the account on cluster 2, I wouldn't then moved it to clusted 1 and ask for the discount I had after this and you approved, that you refused to give it for the same account on cluster 2?( so from the very begining you were able to solve the issue but you refused doing so.

we needn't have this complication from the very begining.

Yes, he is using this BW, but not some huge files, only 1 single silly flv file that was removed.

Any usage done by your reseller account is subjected to be charged according to the hosting package charges, your reseller account is using. You agreed to these terms when you signup with JodoHost.

As far as discounts are concern, we have allowed you one discount just to regard your association with us, at another account for almost the same problem. In that we have already

Discount on Extra usage charges are not included in any of our policy. As we are offering Premium Service as marginal profit.

With the special consideration we have credited your account with $30 one time credit. Now you can clear the rest negative balance of your account, if you want to get the same re-activated.

I signed up for this reseller account at 3/22/08
after 8 months of suffering from win5, i moved some accounts back to cluster 1 and down-graded the plan 10/22/08.
I am on the down-graded plan for 9 months having only 2 suffering accounts there on win5

you should consider that I am 5 years old client with you,
you should consider I suffered enough on win5,
consider this a compensation of the service on cluster 2,
If i didn't down-grade the cost of using this Bandwidth is none

Usage fee for extra 64.3 GB above pre-paid 60 GB of traffic is $128.50
if I upgraded to the higher plan I would paid only $35
If i didn't down-grade I would paid nothing
down-grade was because the serviec, i didn't move to another company, i moved back to cluster 1
 
and now,
we are at the end of the month, i am out of credit, JodoHost will sure say it is not of our business,
but i paid the bill but only $5 is remaining, ONLY $5, and JodoHost is saying we WILL KEEP ACCOUNT SUSPENDED until we receive the $5,

i paid over $115 this month and only $5 left, and JodoHost doesn't want to resume account but after receiving the $5

According to records your bill has been generated on "6/22/09" we have already given you more then 2Months time to pay your bill. Despite the fact we have already given you a a credit of $30 you have yet not clear the full outstanding.
 
Well, if we resume your account now, system is going to generate New bill for the period of :-

7/22/09 - 8/22/09 & 8/22/09 - 9/22/09

and there will be More outstanding in your account. JodoHost will be entitled to get this payment as we have preserved your data and account setting since 2 Months, even though you have not paid us.
 
you didn't preserved the data, you refused to move it to another or separate account, and they are only MBs for only 1 user account I will move to shared hosting.

Now you are refusing to resume the account for $5 after I paid more than $113?

eh? Did not preserve? If the data is still there at all it is preserved. normally by this point it is all deleted. Yes we refused to move the account to another account, it has already gone over twice why would we put ourselves in that position again?

Sorry, but we will probably never see eye to eye on this, we simply can't waive all charges here, we've given multiple large discounts at this point and your client has used all this transfer.
 
Account has been resumed, with special permission, this account will be suspended again in next 24 hr. because it is still showing negative balance.

JH knows very well that HSphere doesn't support migrating accounts, so they know they will have what ever they ask for, even it was 10X what the client should pay.

Sorry but you have it wrong, when you have an overage, it is an OVERAGE. We have dramatically reduced the price twice now for you. We have a good flow of incoming customers as well, and this is a total non issue.
 
reducing $30 from $147.5 and now I've to pay for an extra $35 from when my account was suspended can never be described as "dramatically" reduce.

refusing to resume my account after paying $119 just for $3 is a tragedy

I think this is normal now when a company looks for money rather than its client business

I was begging to have my account back, cause your billing staff refused to resume my account because of a $3

neglecting paying more than $110 this month, refusing to resume until clearing $3

really it is tragedy

I will point in everywhere your OVERAGE policy, that force your FAITHFUL client to pay 10X or loose their business

this all could have been avoided twice. I am sorry it has happened, but we too have to pay our bills here. It isn't as if the pricing is hidden. I know you disagree on the matter, but we too have staff to pay, bills to pay, and have spent many hours working on this matter for you. From showing where the usage was, to waiting, answering questions, reanalyzing logs, waiting more. It is also standard policy to have to pay back bills before an account can be unsuspended, it has been that way since day 1.

In addition the same thing happened again, after we showed where all the usage was, and that bill too was reduced, so the overall was quite a substantial discount.
We do not wish to kill your business, nor ours, but the situation is what it is, and there was a large overage that happened, twice.
 
you are giving in your PlatinumHost 525GB of Bandwidth and 34GB of diskspace for $140

why charging me the same for an extra 80GB while I am using only 1GB diskspace

when I ask for a discount I didn't ask to pay me from your pocket

This client is more than 1 year old with me, his website is less than 300MB, when i find once an extra bill for $147.5 shouldn't I ask why? shouldn't anyone do?

If HSphere was providing any reports I would saved your valuable time, but i didn't find any clue where did this BW go, not in webalizer nor AWStats

It was there in the logs, we did analysis on the same logs and showed it to you.
