Since we as resellers are from all around the world, when our servers go down (win1...win5 etc.) some of us suffer more than others. By the way, I don?t mean unexpected down times. This applies to regular maintenance down time only.
So, the concept of my suggestion is to have similar origin domains in the same server e.g. domains locally from US are separated than domains locally from Europe. One way to do that is to have an option to tell HSphere where that domain is originated when we or our customers add more domains so they can be added to different servers.
What?s good about doing this? I?ll give you an example; at 7 pm, tech support is working on a server where my domains are held. For most of my domains, local time is 11 am during business hours. But if the tech support knew those servers? maintenance hours depending on their category, it would save us -and them some time spend on tickets to find out what?s going on.
I am sure there are many cons about following this structure from Jodohost?s point but I just felt stating it.
