Apparently scripts in the cgi-bin are no longer working

Have created trouble ticket but maybe everybody took the weekend off

I figured out what was happening by myself.....BUT...it is still some kind of server issue.

When you upload through FTP a script xxxx.pl to your cgi-bin, that script will get a server error.

BUT, if you EDIT that script in WebShell and make some minor insignificant change like deleting or adding a blank line or something, then the script will WORK.

PS. I would REALLY like to know why this is happening.

It seems a binary/ascii upload issue and the edit on webshell auto detects and fixes.
 
Yes.......looks like it's been on my end the whole time....it was uploading .pl files in binary which made the files screw up............SORRY...............z
