Changing a subdomain to a full domain in a new account?

We currently have a subdomain setup under our main reseller account as a beta/testing site for a client. We are going to want to make this into its own seperate full domain and account for the client. Is there any easy means to do this or do we basically have to start a new account from scratch and move the required files and do a DB restore, etc?

I guess for next time it be wise to just create a seperate account for testing and use the temp domain and then if it goes ahead its all ready for the client, otherwise delete. :-\
 
The issue is this will be a new client account under our reseler account and if I undertsand it correctly may not be on the same server.
