Changing Plans

I have created a windows service account plan and a windows plan which clients will use. I have put them in the same group however the service account is not viewable to everyone.

My idea was to have an account that I can setup for someone that doesnt have the knowledge to setup their own. Once I setup the account for them and get their files uploaded and mail configured I send them instruction on changing the plan to just the "Windows" plan which is a pay plan and they go through the billing.

I am wondering if anyone has a better way to do this rather than creating instructions on changing their plan. Can I force them to change plan types through the admin?

Keep your Service account/plan separate from other plans/acconts. That is your personal account to host your own sites.

Create a trial account and that will enforce billing after biling period.

It seems if I use a trial account I have to put in billing information. I'm setting these accounts up and want them to use their billing information once I'm complete with their setup.

No, for trial you need not to put billing information. Once their account is setup, they have to create a "Billing Profile" to convert their account from trial to paid one.

Sorry didn't notice that on a trial you have to select the dropdown that says either credit card or trial... I was being dumb and selecting credit card... excellent this will work great!
