DB Backup Question

Kinda of a strange situation.

Over the last year I migrated to a new DB.

The old DB is 3.5 Gig and I'm at my limit so I'd like to delete it.

However... I'm a little nervous that I might have missed transfering some of the historical data so I'd like a backup of it.

If I was to delete the database could a semi-recent backup be placed on one of my domains?

I don't really want to have a backup put on one of my domains now because I'm at my disk space limit already.

We can provide you backup of your database if it still exist. If it's already deleted, please send us ticket we will check possibility of backup.

Send a ticket and we will store it outside of your user folders on backup server for 1-2 weeks in RAR form, if you needed it then we can send to you for import etc.

I think you understand what I am asking.

I basically want to make a backup of my database to my local home computer and then delete the database.

But I don't want to incur the disk usage fee by going over my limit by 3.5 gigs which I would by having both the DB and the backup on my account at the same time.

If what you are suggesting handlings that then I'll go with your plan. It would only take a day for me to get the DB local and verify it before everything could be deleted on the servers.

That is fine, what I was saying was simply we can store it temp out of your disk space no problem. If you want a link to download the RAR of the bak file, just ask we will provide it.
