dreamweaver can't access server time

Hello,

We have a new client that uses Dreamweaver 2004 version 7.0.1. He says that our windows plan does not return the server time to Dreamweaver making it impossible for it to know whether the files on his local computer are in sync with those on the server.
Anyone know a fix for this?
Thank you in advance.

a client is suddenly experiencing syncronization problems in Dreamweaver because the remote server (win22) timestamps are two hours off from his local files.

Is there any way to adjust the timestamp on either side (local or remote) so they are in sync (ie: more accurate)? From what I understand, the local files are stamped 1pm and the remote changes them to 3pm then when the syncronization takes place, it changes the local files to 3pm. I personally don't think it's a big deal, but my client is having a fit. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Just an added note. I assume that Dreamweaver's "syncronization client" acts the same as FrontPage's "publishing bot". I just checked a website on Win22 using FrontPage and the timestamp is exactly the same as my local desktop (perfect). But when I login using CuteFTP, the remote files are two hours ahead of my local time. No biggie because I can manipulate the timestamp by changing the Time Offset to -500 and it looks fine.

Is there a way of doing this same thing in Dreamweaver? It will make my client feel a lot better.
