Email Log?

OJM

Perch
Evening all,

I run a small community at www.ckyalliance.co.uk, and have just sent out two emails to approx 4893 members. However, both times, the email sending stopped at number 1773, and wondered if you had a log which you could look at, and possibly let me know why it stopped? I suspect it's a problem email address in a members profile, but I can't seem to pinpoint which one.

Many thanks in advance!

Oli

OJM,

We do have logs, but they are mainly for tracking spam, it also depends on the method you used to send them as to how useful the error/mail logs will be.

Ah right, ok.

If it's any help, these are the settings I'm using through WebWizForums;

Component - CDOSYS
SMTP Server - localhost

The mass emails were sent at;

First emails approx. 21:56 GMT
Second emails approx. 22:04 GMT

ok, then logs would be limited at best, and I could probably not give oyu an exact stopping point, we can see the greetings, from's to's, and that is almost it. And it is most cryptic to figure much out, but put together with a spam complaint it is most helpful.

Would it be possible to let me know the last email sent from my domain, at around those times, please? That way, I can look at the next email in the list, which would most probably be the problematic one.

OJM,

I need you to PM me the from address you use, no promises I will find much useful, but that will help me.

Hi OJM - have you looked at Email Verifier from

http://www.glocksoft.com/?source=AEV420

It'll find problematic emails for you. The free version limits you to something like 30 emails per run. The paid version (around $30 if my memory is correct) is unlimited.

It may shed some light on your problem.

Cheers,
