Email Question

We have a new client coming on board with us from a different host and server, so we are setting up their account now getting ready to move them over to us. After we created the account in our reseller panel, all emails we send to them from our account are getting directed to their new account instead of their current server.

I set up a custom MX record so that emails still go to their old web server, but its not working. Any ideas? Emails from outside accounts like Yahoo go to their old server just fine.
 
If you can, use a different SMTP server than one hosted here by Jodo. Jodo's server is seeing the domain locally and never sending it to your client's real domain.

Tim is correct, using external servers you will have to turn the mail OFF here if using mailservers internally here, otherwise it will deliver here not external.
