email server is down

Mail1 is down due to certain disk issues and corruption. We are fixing these issues.

We expect everything will be back up within 25 minutes.

We appologize for the unexpected outage. The mailserver has come under heavy activity that has resulted in the excessive generation of logs and disk activity. Once we fix this issue, we will be working to reduce the load and prevent this from happening again
 
What we are basically doing is moving a largish mail directory to another SCSI disk on the system . The copy is almost complete
 
The issue has been solved. However the load is very high due to the backlog of email that has to be processed after the outage.

You could and will get timeouts while tyring to send email via outlook express. Please check/send email via Webmail over the next 60min
