email servers going down

Is it just me, or does the mail server (63.209.158.6) keep falling over???

I’m trying to help a customer setup their account, and it’s difficult trying to work out if it’s their settings or the mail server not responding.

It was a minor QMAIL issue

Taken care of. Issue lasted about 10min. Didn’t affect incoming or outgoing email

If by “Didn’t affect” you mean no email was lost…then I agree

Unfortunatly it did affect my customers incomming mail, because it was not possible to login to their pop3 accounts.
