File Manager access changed?

None of my client accounts can log in to file manager in the control panel -- they get a username/password challenge window, but their account login is not recognized. This was not the case before the control panel update yesterday -- click thru to the file manager app would give them instant access, no additional credentials needed.

What gives -- and how do I get their access reestablished?
 
It depends, they can be caused by a number of things, I'd recommend sending a ticket for it.
