FTP - Login Message

When a user connects to an FTP server here is there a way to customize the welcome message?

Or if they connect with a browser so they can download FTP files is there a way to display a message at the top of the file list?

I can give a global message, but have decided not to on the servers, if resellers want a generic global message, I can put one however.

No Problem. I think he was hoping to give instructions to the user at the top of the browser when browsing to the ftp site, but most places I've been simply have some sort of text or html file the user can read.

No need to do anything.
