Good program to shrink NTFS partitions?

Hi,

I want to install linux on laptop (running XP pro) but only have 1 partition. I heard that it is possible to shrink a partition using some program.

Anyone know of a good program to do so? I don't want to mess up my current partition containg my current OS.

I use PartitionMagic from PowerQuest. I have never had a problem using it and it will do what you want to do.
 
Great program!

I installed linux but now my wide screen and wireless card are not getting recognized on my Dell laptop. It's my first time ever on linux and I cant even use the graphical view and am stuck in the command prompt!
