Graveyard shift support needs improving

Ok, I know it's like midnight over there when I'm having lunch here, but really.. the number of times I've had to explain problems twice over, after being told my problem is "working pohZerectionSpamly", followed thereafter by a LONG delay - and sometimes no reply at all until someone like Steven, Yash, Tanmaya or Deepak arrive hours later - is becoming a little inconvenient.

The midnight-till-dawn support crew need a few more coffees I think. :ranger: Can this be arranged please? :whip:

Instant should do fine I think. :)

It would be tea for them :)

Right now we are doing some maintenance. I am around but not too active except in making sure updates work perfectly right now.

The cavalry arrives. :)

When you have moment can you check out ticket RS #AFG-47499-862 - it's a subdomain that HSphere had an error with when creating it, and we're all scratching our heads at the moment wondering why here I can't see the new domain but you guys can see it there. DNS issue maybe? Sounds like it needs advanced support. :)

[edit] just wondering if your (HS?) updates made it hiccup. It stuffed up that one subdomain but I added another and it worked ok. HS apparently sent an error message to tech support - so it said!

subdomain already added so it does'nt matter whether you had issue while adding subdomain, i check this domain at different location and found okay. I also suspect dns cache issue .

There is some chance that the reboots on windows server caused this(if it was a windows hosted domain), as I manually turn off hsphere and IIS before executing the reboot command to make the reboot go faster, and keep from hanging.

It was a Windows account, yep. But it's now resolved itself - I had flushed my local DNS cache and done everything I could think of, but it suddenly came right over the past hour. Now I can see the normal default HSphere content, yay!

It could have been a DNS caching problem somewhere along the line between you and me, which has now resolved itself.

Thanks for the help, that was certainly a weird one. Yogresh was very patient, as I understand it all looked normal from your end. How could I have doubted? :)
