Hijacking domains using domain alias?

A customer registered several domains and wanted them forwarded to their website. I used domain aliases in hsphere to set this up.

What's to stop me from entering other domains like ibm.com or google.com so they point to this website? How does the internet magically know some domains are ok to forward and some are not?

well name server, and for some of the big ones we actually have in a blacklist of non allowed

So when my customer registered additional domains, he must have entered the name server info I provided when I setup his hosting account (for example: ns1.webstudiowest.biz, ns2.webstudiowest.biz)?
