Horde - send from Fetched account?

I have a client I moved from another system that used Horde webmail. They've indicated that within Horde, other email accounts could be Fetched. I've figured out how to do that.

Does anyone know if it is possible to send FROM the account that was fetched rather than the account it was fetched into?

Example: Mail was fetched from @domain2.com into @domain1.com. When replying to mail to @domain2.com, I'd like the reply to come from @domain2.com rather than @domain1.com.

Dont think that is going to work, as that fetched mail account won't authenticate on the sending server(the local one)

The Horde wiki mentions it is possible. I just haven't hit on the correct preferences I think. It may have something to do with setting "identities."

It mentions it in this paragraph:

"[IMP 4.x] IMP can "Fetch mail" from other accounts and merge it into your INBOX or other folder(s) displayed by IMP. If you want to manage them separately rather than merging them all into one folder, you can simply create a separate folder for each account, and then configure IMP's Fetch Mail to download messages for each account to its own unique folder. Each folder would then represent an account. Using multiple identities tied to each account's email address, you can set it up so that when you reply to a message from any given account, the proper From: address is used."

Though the preferences and settings are not that clear, I have now managed to test this and it worked. You have to set up Identities at the top level Horde Options. Then you can tie them to mail addresses and you can select that Identity when you reply to an email.

Solved.

I can't get the darn thing to save in a different folder yet, but the main issue is resolved.
