Hosting facilities and recovery arrangements

Hi,

This information is probably already available somewhere, so I apologise upfront for asking you to repeat it.

One of our customers is asking some hosting questions, and I guess you're better placed to answer these. The questions are:

  1. What are your hosting facilities like?
  2. What skills level and experience do your support staff have?
  3. What disaster recovery arrangements do you have?

Obviously, if there is any other detail that you feel would be pertinent, please mention it. On the whole we are very happy with JodoHost hosting, but we need to commnicate this to our customers, so any help would be appreciated.

2) We have a team that is made up of individuals of varying experience. Some of our most experienced administrators have 6 to 7years of industry experience in linux and Windows. Our team consists of MCPs, MCSEs and cisco-certified professionals

3) At the moment, all our systems use RAID1 or RAID5 to ensure that hard-disk failure doesn't mean data-loss. We also make data backups to dedicated backup servers.

Can assume that the data backups happen daily?

Also, what kind of disaster recovery systems do you employ?

We backup every 24 to 48 hours as stated. These are full backups

Disaster recovery from a totally dead server is down from a complete server backup that resides on a backup server. We do system images as well to aid in quickly restoring a system. We have stand-by servers always available.
