How do I secure cp.mydomain.com?

Hey,

I spoke to a support staff on live chat and he told me they had to secure my panel because no ip are available on the cp box. To do so i have to send them my ssl certificate and my private key.

My question is how do i generate a CSR for cp.mydomain.com? I know how to create CSRs for other domains but how would i do so for my control panel?

This is what I'm looking for but i cannot follow the steps because as Ranjan said, if I remember correctly, there are no free IPs on the cp box.

I get this error:
HTTP SSL support is unavailable on this CP.
Contact your hosting administrator to change settings.

What he proposed was that i give him my ssl cert and private key, but i am unable to continue through the steps shown, which would grant me access to creating my CSR in order to buy a certificate.
