Image Magick / GD1 / GD2 on Win21

Hi ,

Do our Windows server ( esp. Win21 ) have support for GD1 - GD2 or Image Magick ?

Two days ago , I had a short chat with support and get this answer ;

"We do not have GD , but Image Magick is installed to ALL of our servers"

After this reply I installed Image Magick supported Joomla Gallery Components to my Website on Win21 but all of them gives the same result .

GD1 - Not Installed
GD2 - Not Installed
IM - Not Installed

I installed Joomla to another reseller , it dedected both of the systems so Joomla and Gallery Components are working fine :)

If GD1 / GD2 / IM not installed on our servers ( older forum posts of support team claims that they are installed ) can they be installed ?
 
GD is installed by default with PHP, so it is certainly there, and ImageMagick is as well, however using it is PHP normally does not work becuase of some security restrictions.

GD2 is installed with php initially and it is certainly there and usable.

After your reply I did search a bug or erron on my php cms but there is nothing wrong ...

Hereby I think there is something wrong at Win21 , look at the screenshots below and see it yourself ...

This is from Win5 ( yes I installed the same cms there for testing ) You can clearly see the GD section of PHP installation there ... And PHP version is 4.4.0

And this is from Win21 ( my server ) , cms is the same , installation is same but you can NOT SEE GD information here . PHP Version is 4.4.4

So please take care of this issue , as I said in my first post ;

Win21 does not have GD or ImageMagick Support ( maybe they are installed but not working for us )

BTW If you need a ticket for this matter I can copy and paste the text for the ticket system in a couple of minutes ...

No offense but ...

We are not PHP or Server Administration experts like you Stephen , so after this short reply ;

Would you (or any of the Jodohost staff ) mind to explain how GD will be enabled via custom php.ini files ?

( I did a search over the net but could not find an answer to this matter , I only learned how to build a custom php.ini and this does not solve our problem )

BTW I found the ImageMagick Path via a simple phpinfo script , will try to use it .
 
If you need GD2 enabled for your domain for php just send us the ticket with your domain name and we shall place the custom php.ini under you domain root which will make GD2 work for you domain.
