JSP + Servlet + Tomcat + MySQL

Is it possible to get JSP + Servlet + Tomcat to work with Mysql in windows/linux hosting. I know JSP is resource intensive but is there a way to implement this so we can service customers who run these technologies for their web sites?

Can you either help directly to setup a VPS that will serve these needs or is there a KB on installing an account on VPS?
 
A VPS account is basically a raw server without much on it, so almost any guide to setting up the software on a linux platform would do the job.
