Live Support - Seems excellent!

I just wanted to say that in the last 24 hours since JodoHost changed its chat system, i have been able to talk with support on 3 occasions and 3 different times with zero issues! With the old system, at times I couldn't reach support over live chat.

It seems like JodoHost has finally sorted out issues with live chat!! Hope it remains this way. As a reseller, getting instant support here at JodoHost is awesome!

I'd be very interested in using such a package on my own site. Does jodohost resell this? How much does it cost? :D

Thank you. It's our commitment to offer true 24x7x365 chat support.

We don't resell the chat software, it's called SB Chat from www.liveperson.com

It's not exactly cheap though. It's priced at $150/month per active seat and we can have as many as 5 or 6 operators online at a time (support + sales).

PHPLivesupport is great if you are not handling too many chat sessions every day. We handle alot of support and sales sessions everyday and we needed a more robust solution which they provide.

SB Chat is pretty good tool to give your sales team as well. They can monitor every visitor to our site and popup special offers or chat sessions with them proactively :)

Reminds me of the BBS times where the SysOp would often be watching over your back, budging in for a chat at random ;)
Big Brother is watching 8)

I personally like the fact I can watch all the live chats going on and add my input to a tech if needed, it helps things a whole lot at times.

:) I also like the fact I can cut and paste! I wanted to do so many times in PHPLive! and it jsut did not work well.

I'll throw in my three cents on the new LivePerson based support -

+1 Works on the first try
+1 Operators can transfer chats to other operators as needed
+1 Notice when an operator is typing

0 Didn't email me a transcript of the chat session. I could have sworn that there was a LivePerson session where that was done. If it's an option could it be enabled?
0 When the chat session ended I was taken back to the previous page as if I had just clicked on "Live Chat".

Overall a great improvement.

I did like though that previously the first window showed which departments were online. Is there a page for this on the new 1???

So far it is has been that we are all answering almost anything, I will see if we can queue it out and show status, but so far I have not seen that option

Yash, do you have a screenshot of LivePerson in action from operator side? I want to implement this solution for a client and I am interested in putting this to use
