Maintenance Window April 18th: Scheduled Network Maintenance 11PM to midnight

We will be performing maintenance in conjunction with one of our upstream carriers to resolve a bug in their Alcatel switch. During this one hour time there may be two outages up to 15 minutes in length while changes are made to the carriers core switch. We noted yesterday on our forums that another maintenance period may be required to resolve an issue with the Alcatel switch, and Alcatel engineers have provided the needed updates for this to take place this afternoon. The maintenance will occur between 11PM EDT and 12:00AM EDT

It you arrive here from the mail of the status announcement, I apologize for the bad grammar in the statement prior to the link :) Hopefully it made you come here and take a look at the status updates however.
 
The maintenance took 30 minutes extra over the announced maintenance window. Total downtime during this time was 4 minutes.
The issue has not been completely resolved yet and Alacatel team will themselves take over the issue tomorrow. They are going to monitor our circuit and do an analysis of our L2 traffic to decide next course of action. This is no way will affect working of our network and any such action will be pre-announced whenever it takes place.
