MS Exchange Server hosted at client...

Hi
I have a new pending web site hosting client that already hosts their own MS Exchange Server at their corporate center... I would appreciate any advice regarding moving their web site to Jodo under my reseller account, while preserving their internally hosted MS Exchange Server for email.

One of their internal "techs" said nothing is required from me, as their domain MX record is already pointed to their Exchange server, and thus they would only need to repoint the web site portion of the domain to the Jodo account. I am suspicious of such a simple answer, and don't want to get in a pinch without understanding the various complexities.

I appreciate any helpful advice,
Thanks!

He's correct :)

They can simply change the DNS A records for www.domain.com and domain.com to point here keeping all other records intact. Just make sure you have mail services disabled on their control panel :)

Really? So the IT know-it all there is right after all! ;-)
Excellent. Thanks.
So in control panel, domains> mail service= off. OK
Question: if the MX mail records are NOT pointing here to Jodo, then why does the mail service need to be off?

It needs to be off because if anyone on servers here tries to mail them it wont reach them, if it is on :)
