MSSQL6/7/9 Migrations Saturday and Sunday night

MSSQL6 will have to be down longer than others as it is not syncing well while online. It will be done Saturday night in a timeframe from 10PM till 5am, it may be down even 4-5 hours during this time, we will work to keep it as minimal as possible.

MSSQL7 will be migrated on Saturday night as well, should be between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours down on it.

MSSQL9 will be migrated on Saturday night if all goes well on MSSQL6/7 but otherwise will be done on Sunday night and a similar 45min-1.5 hours timeframe to complete

The data syncs are taking much longer than planned and experienced previously, making delays in this processing.

MSSQL 6/7/9 will begin the outage portion of their migration at 7pm tonight. MSSQL7 will probably be the first to return on the new, followed by 9 and 6, 9 has some VERY large databases that will be taking the most time, but are at least partially synced to within the last 10 hours from that point.

these MSSQL9 DB users will actually be getting a notice as they are beyond reasonable size, and beyond the side even of any plans we offer, for the database alone.

MSSQL6 is going well, but still going to be about another hour to hour and a half I believe going by current transfer speeds.

MSSQL7 is doing a live sync but will be going down in the next 1.5 hours, MSSQL9 will be starting its down portion within the next 45 minutes to an hour as well.

MSSQL6, is still going, taking a bit longer than estimated, and looks like it will be at least another 1 hour.

MSSQL9 is starting its migration part that requires downtime now.

MSSQL6 and MSSQL9 are up, but getting IP redirect in place now for them, will be live to all within 10-12 minutes.

Not redirected yet, one issue in MSSQL6 IP not wanting to remove from the network (old side)

We have the redirection in place but not yet seeing any traffic, we are checking this out.

COMPLETE.

All MSSQL servers have been moved at this point!

There will still be a little bit of work to do on all 3 of these for getting hsphere management set and DNS IPs set, but services up and running.
