Multiple reports of MySQL slowness - Joomla Bot Net scans

We are aware of people reporting MySQL botnet scans of various servers at random times, this is not due to any issue on the servers, but massive Joomla hack/login attempt botnets scanning sites making large loads for temp.

We are working to stop it as best possible, a couple of weeks ago WordPress was hit like this, and not Joomla is seeing it happen.
 
Win27 had a domain getting over 400 login attempts, PER SECOND. Totally wiping out mysql connections, and causing slowness. We are working to resolve now.
 
If you have forbidden access on administrator login to joomla, this is a temporary measure while the botnets are passing.
