MySQL Backup

Aside from going into phpmyadmin daily and organising a backup from there, is there a simpler way of backing up the dbs from the CP into a SQL file in the site space?

I'm thinking of worst-case scenarios here; suppose a customer's database fails miserably then can we have that db restored by jodohost?

yes phpmyadmin can do the backups and restores, and if needed submit a ticket and we can as well.
