Just curious if a vps should be able to see mysql databases on all the mysql servers from the vps environment?
 
They are completely seperate servers, different processes, not only it can't it is impossible :)
 
Opps sorry wasn't meaning that way. I was meaning attach to a database remotely. Script connects to say mysql7
 
Ah, yes it can "see" those :D But I dont think we have mysql7 yet, only mssql7 :)
We only block filesharing ports on the VPS servers to prevent the automated spread of worms/trojans/virii.
