Nameservers

Yash - can I be absolutely clear about what I just read. You are asking for EVERYONE to change every domain's nameservers that is hosted here through their registrars account to:

ns.jodoshared.com
ns1.jodoshared.com

effectively getting rid of ns2.jodoshared.com

- all domains, right? Is this the end?!! Is shared ssl now working? All I'm waiting for is the often endless wait for my blazing ISP to catch up - but then it's all over - right?
ftp working?
control panel working?
sessions working?
everything working?

- would have confirmed through ticket, but still cant get the control panel or anything...

OK - great - I tried sending a reply to a ticket I just got and it got returned with the helpful message:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named jodohost.com!! :)

Yes, that is correct. Everything will work now!
The DNS issue has been resolved

You *should* make ns1.jodoshred.com as primary but it makes no difference now..

Sorry Yash - I hate changing nameservers. Can you just answer yes to the question (just to make me feel better!!!!!) :)

ns1.jodoshared.com
ns.jodoshared.com NOT

ns1.jodoshared.com
ns2.jodoshared.com

-right? and sorry for being so dumb

Also, the reply I was trying to send to my ticket was relating to ssl. They told me to ignore the fact that I'm still seeing win4 in the control panel and try to enable shared ssl My reply was:

I can't - I'm unable to get into the control panel - the website can't be
found. ISP caching I guess. Also, if I do ignore - do I need to hit the
option to convert back to shared IP first? Remember, I'm seeing the
dedicated IP addresses in the control panel (at last look)

Keep the name servers as they are, don't worry about them.

The website is down for you because you have set ns2 as your primary name server which is actually your secondary name server. The secondary name server will take about 2 hours to become active because of the recent dNS changes we make. You can change your name servers with your registrar but by the time they become effective, the issue will already be solved

The CP may be down for some customers once again because of iP propogation. We dumped and recreated all DNS zones

You can keep your IP the way it is. You should be seeing a new dedicated IP, right?

I'm not seeing nothing at the moment. But in answer to your question - no - I was seeing win4, and I was seeing the same IP addresses as I had before the switch.

Thanks for clarifying the nameservers issue :]
