I have received an inquiry from a potential customer asking for third part components i am not sure if they are installed. please advise. his inquiry is below...

Q: Hi,



We are required windows based hosting plan. Following are our required specification.




Requirement Specification:



Hosting Plan: Windows hosting

Web space: 500 MB

Database: MS SQL Server 2000

Script Language: Active Server Pages 3.0

POP Accounts: 5 POP account

Email component: ASPEmail

ZIP Utility: infozip [ http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/ ]

3rd party component:ASP huge file upload

[ http://www.pstruh.cz/help/scptutl/upload.asp ]





We are required 2 additional 3rd party components as mentioned above, ZIP utility

infozip is free ware software and it will not add up any charge. ASP huge file upload

is second component that will charge some cost, to check its further detail go to the

URL [http://www.pstruh.cz/help/scptutl/upload.asp ]. These two components are

very essential to our hosting plan.



On the basis of above specification, kindly provide us detail price info. What will be

the minimum contract period, how much will you charge for setup, what will be the

package cost. How you will go to provide 3rd party component.

1) ASPEMail - Installed
2) InfoZip - Not installed. Very few hosts install zipping software because it generates high cpu usage

Is it possible to have you install certain third party components on request if we get a lot of requests for it? I am mainly a development firm and a lot of my clients will require different third party software. just curious if you make installations of free software on request...
