Network Router Maintenance - Saturday Night/Sunday Morning 12 midnight

We are upgrading the core router Network Processing Engine at 12 midnight Saturday night, there will be a brief network outage as we change from one router to another. The outage should be less than 15 minutes total.

With this upgrade we will be increasing our total network capacity by over 300% and soon adding another gigabit fiber connection for a total failover solution.

Again, this will be happening Saturday Night/Sunday Morning at 12 midnight, and the outage should be less than 15 minutes total.
 
The network upgrade had to be aborted, a new CISCO router that was installed - router16, died upon the network upgrade. We had to revert the network to its previous configuration. There were 3 qualified CISCO admins working on this issue and unfortunately they couldn't diagnose the issue with that router

We of course will talk to CISCO and for now, this network upgrade is being cancelled and delayed indefinitely till we have this issue sorted out..

The total downtime was approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately , certain technical problems cannot be anticipated and we apologise for this
