New Ticket System is not SSL

I like the new ticket system... but you are asking me to enter my user/pass into a non SSL login. Anyone could hack/steal my user/pass.

Why not make the ticket system secure? you guys did that finally for the CP, why not the ticket system as well?
 
Its on our plans. But rarely will one have to supply any password to us through the ticketing system.

There are very very few issues that would require you to supply us a password
 
umm.... I have to supply my password in the login form before i can even START a new ticket... see screenshot...

it seems many tickets have been via email, and there is no password sent that way.
 
No, I meant sensitive passwords like FTP, email or database passwords.

You can use email as well. Many customers use that to submit and update tickets.
 
Yash, I think you are referring to putting passwords and stuff into the ticket... and i'm merely referring to the login screen for the ticket system itelf not being SSL.
 
What is the email for submitting tickets??
I used to see the new ticket system popping up, but now it's back to the old one. And I opened a ticket since this morning (over 12 hours ago) and it has not been addressed yet.

Ticket ID is 59977.

I need some help urgently, my site is down currently.
