pass username & pw in url for logon to cp

what is the format for passing username & password in a url so that one can be logged onto the cp (like ftp)
 
You cannot pass username and password to the CP in a URL, however I believe you can use a submit form

When a new domain is created, the default index.html file contains that code. Let me see if I can dig it up for you ...
 
on the fresh ones, index.html and login.html seem identical...

just open one of those up you say :)
