We'll be upgrading our Windows web servers to PHP 4.3.10 from 4.3.9. Our linux servers were already upgraded with zero issues last week. The urgency of the upgrade is the phpbb worm that has been defacing sites across the internet, including some sites on our servers. We previously wanted to perform the upgrade right after New Years since many customers are on vacation at the moment. But considering that our clients are now beginning to complain, we will be performing this upgrade on December 29th at 2AM EST
We have already tested this upgrade and it does not affect 90% of the existing PHP scripts. However, there may be a chance that your script may not function properly after the upgrade and thus we ask you to update yourself on the phpbb bug and changes in PHP 4.3.10.
