We have found on many servers that Anonymous FTP is being abused by people to upload various scripts, exe files, and other files that are very undesirable.
If you have FTP services with Anonymous FTP support enabled please check your ftp.domain.com folder and make sure you are not hosting files that you do not know about. If you do not have a major need for Anonymous FTP it really needs to be disabled as well.
This is just a general information announcement, and not to anyone in specific, just anyone with Anonymous FTP enabled. Give it a check and ensure you know what is there.
