Poor performance on wincf2

All of my sites on wincf2 that have a connection to a MySQL database on mysql8 are constantly timing out. Is there a driver issue or is there something I can do on my end?
 
I request to you please open a support ticket with mention all information. So that we can check it.
 
I have and was told that there are no issues. Still constantly timing out though. I was hoping someone here could offer a solution.
 
Unfortunately, the CF that is running on these servers just doesn't perform. CF itself is probably the absolute worst server product I've ever seen, but a few people still use it. You're best bet is to try to convince your customer to move to PHP or ASP. We had a customer that we could not convince, and due to the constant issues they left us. Not sure where they went, but they did tell us that they do not have any CF issues on their new host. I don't necessarily believe this, just based on my own experience running CF servers in the past. But with not having the latest CF version on these servers, it could be adding to the issues..
 
We have CF7 on all, no it isn't the latest but it is on all servers now, better than the 6.1 that was there.

CF has many weaknesses and the main one is ODBC engine, no matter which version of CF you get it still has a terrible odbc engine.

I've seen CF have issues on severs with few hits and no load at all, it isn't a load issue, and the newest servers have very few sites on them before we launch a new one, yet still have ODBC issues.
