Are there {step by step} or any instructions for setting up private name servers for our resold accts ???? Kindest regards,
 
The process varies by domain registrar as it must be registered as a nameserver with them before it will work with others.
 
Directi is registra... setup dns records as follows.

Directi uses terminology "Manage Child Name Servers"

ns1.mydomain.us 204.14.104.150
ns2.mydomain.us 204.10.105.200

If the above is correct, what would be the additional steps required.

You are correct for directi that is the proper naming of nameserver pointing, now after making these child nameservers you will need to point the domain to that DNS in order to use it as just registering the nameservers there does not make them the domains DNS servers.
