Question about backups

Yes, backups take place every 24 to 48 hours. Everything from users files to systems files to databases are backed up.

We have a very extensive backup policy that is audited regularly
 
Yash, just a question concerning MS SQL database backups.
If during the night, a hacker breaks into my DB and deletes some tables, how easy is it for you to replace the data from a copy that is from a day before?

Thankfully, nothing has ever happened, but I have to plan for the day..... :(

We have already put in strategy, to avoid such situations.

We can easily restore SQL backups within 1-2 hours unless there is a larger problem, many times it is even faster than that.
