Anybody know when we can expect this? Also which gems will be installed and what deploying weirdness we'll need to know about to use. TIA for any info.
WE will be doing some announcement within 5-7 days of the completion of upgrade. If you asked me a week ago I'd have said by sunday but we're admitedly delayed by these upgrade bugs.

You know, I would like to know more about this as well. I may forward some people I know here in my local Orlando rails community to this site.
We are focusing on getting existing clients working fully at the moment which includes a few lingering stats issues and most major right now is a payment gateway problem for eway payment gateway, we have a couple resellers eagerly awating it as it is hampering their business not being able to process payments.
We understand rails is important, and we haven't forgotten, but it is a new feature and not an existing one that should be working.
Of note is that eway issued existed before the update, so it is NOT an upgrade issue, but it is one we had to upgrade to get support to fix
