I have been with jodohost for 3 months and must say I am very impressed. :)

I have one questions though. When someone looks up the ip for my service domain, this company shows up "ACCELERATEBIZ.COM". When you visit that site it shows a host company offering hosting plans??? 8o

The obvious question is why does it go to a host company?? As a reseller, any of my customers do an ip lookup - very easily.. and then they see this companies website... with different pricing etc. This seems very very odd and would be very hard to explain to a customer. There goes the "private label" part.

I liked the idea of true private label reselling... but this kinda blows that a bit does it not?

Is there not a way to prevent this website from showing up? I cannot even tell customers ACCELERATEBIZ.COM are a supplier - but in reality i should not even have to... being private label?

Acceleratebiz is the owner of some of the IPs for us, there is pretty much no way around this.

AccelerateBiz is a network services provider, so you can tell your clients they provide us with network management..

It's better than having JodoHost show up in IP WhoIs :)

It has been a while since this post. Has there been any developments in this regard?

I have reseller plans with another company and some resold hsphere reseller plans. I may consider moving them to jodo but that could be tough being that it is not very private label. That is I resell with jodo and they resell with me.

Just wondering. For my retail customers who mention it I tell them aceleratebiz is network management firm, but for resellers that would be tough.

If not specifically looking for Hsphere, you can go for Windows VPS and you get Plesk. This way it is you who have the server and the admin panel.
Also, Can you elaborate how exactly you have "resold" Hsphere reseller plans? because the same should be possible here. They also must be having an IP owner listed that is a hosting company and/or a DC.

We have certainely moved away from any name that points back to us for almost all our subnets.

hmm actually after looking acelerate website over.. it is not bad because their pricing is higher for the moment anyway. :]

Yes, currently my resellers at the other provider can see the netblock owner, but they do not offer what we do and we partner with them for domain names. That is, I can actually tell customers we are partnered with them so it is not an issue.

The issue is I cannot say I am partnered with aceleratebiz. I can say they help manage the network.. that would work maybe. But jodo is listed as a partner.

Anyway.. it is not that big of an issue. I was just wondering if anything had changed. 8)
