Hallo,
Is it possible one server at the same time to be Publisher and subscriber?
I have three servers? server1, server2, server3. Server2 is publisher and server3 is subscriber for server2. Now the server2 must be update from server1 my question is can I set a new replication between server1 and server2? Which server1 is publisher for server2 and server2 is publisher for server3 at the same time server2 is subscriber for server1

if you are talking about Ms SQL Server the answer is yes.
You can set a merge replication model too.

Yes I am taking about MS SQL server 2000,I know about Merge model but I do not think that the merge model is a good solution. I will choose for a transaction replication because the data changed frequently. And the server2 is updated only from server1 not from two servers.
