I have been asked if I could provide a designated IP address that would cover multiple sites.
Here is some of the reasoning for request is page request time not having to do a DNS search, would it make a difference?
1. One main site for central database adiministration.
2. Other related sites pull information pages built from central database on IP xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/commonfolder/pagename.htm.
You really can't do the above #2 request can you because it is pointing to multiple site?
Or would it be best to create a virtual folder for each site pointing to the shared folder?
