IPN setting in paypal...

I have this set on paypals side to call back into Hsphere but in reality Hsphere should be including the IPN callback url in the initial payment call.

Do we know if that is the case?

Having it set in paypal triggers a call to hsphere on any paypal payment including non-jodohost payments and paypal is cracking down on failed IPN calls.

If you have it set to the CP url, it works. We've seen one other complaint about this and it was a different in http and https in url even.

I want to remove the url completely from paypal. HSphere should be sending down the URL on every transaction.

Otherwise I have to have an account dedecated to hsphere.

I am pretty sure it has to be set at the Paypal side, I will let some others chime in as I don't have my paypal linked, maybe one of our billing staff can help.

You need to set it in Paypal for hsphere as it doesn't do it itself. Normally, you add the IPN URL to the payment details that go to Paypal, and Paypal will then make the IPN to that address. Unfortunately, hsphere doesn't do this, so Paypal can only use the default IPN you set on their site. As you can only set one, this means it has to be for your reseller control panel and can't be used for anything else. Every time the reseller CP URL gets changed (as has just happened to mine again X( ) it also means the default IPN address fails and Paypal start sending you emails saying they're going to suspend your account.

Really what needs to happen is that hsphere should post the IPN URL along with the payment but I don't know if that's possible in the current setup or in email links.
