Scheduled tasks with windows hosting.

Hello

I just wondering if the are any tools with the Windows hosting to perform a periodic task i.e. requesting a web page. If not would it be possible to install a windows service or for a script to be scheduled. I appreciate that you can schedule jobs via SQL server but would need to access COM components so have discounted this idea. I also believe that this may be possible with coldfusion i.e. to request a page etc, but would rather not use this. I am using ASP.NET if anyone has any suggestions. Many thanks.
 
I found a couple of other posts in this forum where Yash has indicated that this service will be available soon.

I too would really benefit from this functionality so I ask again Yash, when will this be available?

At the moment, we dont have anything like this available. However it can be done in CF with CF scheduler and on Linux with crontab
