Server Error in 'domain WEB' Application

Server Error in '/domainname WEB' Application.

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

What causes this type of error? Is it something I can control via the CP, is it a coding issue on the user, or is it a server setting?

it sounds like you are using MSSQL Express edition connection strings

Do you have an example of the differences I can forward to the coder? I believe they are using the Visual Studio 2008 Express software (not sure though)
