Hello,

Is it possible to install SharePoint services in the Windows Servers (without hpsphere support)?

No, it conflicts with a number of hsphere items.

Some people have attempted, and some mistakenly think that the frontpage extensions(also called sharepoint in w2k3), are full sharepoint.
 
Hi Stephen,

Does your answer of No mean that folks cannot install Sharepoint by themselves without going through support..or that Sharepoint cannot be installed at all?

Thanks Stephen...just wondering! Actually I could never really see any huge benefits in Sharepoint..unless folks were going to collaboarate on sites..and there's other ways to do that anyways! But then again..what the heck do I know! :D
 
I have only seen sahrepoint briefly and really liked it, seemed to have a really nice web based editor, etc. Very clear, clean, easy to use.
